Learn how to use Clipus and get help when you need it.

Getting Started

  1. Create an account — Sign up at clipus.io/signup with your email or Google account.
  2. Install the Chrome Extension — Install "Clipus — SaaS Screenshot & UI Capture" from the Chrome Web Store.
  3. Capture your product — Navigate to your SaaS dashboard, click the Clipus icon, and press "Start Capture." Use your product normally.
  4. Review & publish — Check your dashboard at clipus.io for the generated video. Review, approve, and publish to YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.

Chrome Extension

What does the extension capture?▾
The extension captures screenshots of the active tab, click coordinates, and page layout data. It also includes an on-device OCR engine that detects text within captured images for multilingual localization — this processing happens entirely in your browser. The extension does NOT record video or audio. Data is only collected during active capture sessions.
Is my data safe?▾
Yes. Data is only captured when you explicitly start a session. All data is transmitted securely (HTTPS) to clipus.io and automatically deleted 30 days after video generation. We do not collect data outside of active sessions, and we do not access your browsing history, bookmarks, or other browser data.
Which browsers are supported?▾
Clipus currently supports Google Chrome (desktop). Support for Microsoft Edge and other Chromium-based browsers is planned.

Video Generation

How long does video generation take?▾
Typically 1-3 minutes. After you stop capturing, our AI analyzes your product, generates a marketing script, creates voiceover, and renders a polished 9:16 video.
Can I change the subtitle style?▾
Yes. On the review page, you can switch between "Word Popup" (MrBeast style) and "Sentence" subtitle styles before publishing.
Which platforms can I publish to?▾
YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. Connect your accounts in Settings to enable one-click publishing.

Is the beta free?▾
Yes. Beta users get full access for free. No credit card required. We're accepting the first 30 users.
What happens after the beta?▾
We'll transition to our pricing plans: Free (3 videos/month), Solo ($19), Growth ($49), and Agency ($149). Beta users will receive a special offer.
